Five states, one week.
I think it’s a pretty good job to visit five states in one week. Here is half of me in Tennessee and the other half of me in Virginia, for instance.

Edible memories
Hey y’all,
I took the day off from work today. I needed to get my shit together and unpack my bags, which totally sucks because they’re filled with joy and awesomeness. Just look at all this candy that I got from my friends. How can you not want to shed a tear of happiness when you see it? IT’S SO HAPPY.
I just want to get on the next flight back to America, I don’t want to be here, it’s depressing, in spite of all the candy I have.
I promise I’ll get started with all the pictures and post them on here, I just need some time. A definite promise is that I’ll post them before I go back in November, lol.
Horrible
Hi,
I have so much to tell you about, hundreds of photos to show you, but I just don’t feel like updating right now. Just wanted to let y’all know I’ve landed in Paris. In a few hours I’ll be on my way to Sweden. It’s just wrong.
Had the best week ever, counting down the days for my next trip. Sorry I passed out at the party, everyone who was there, lol. I just couldn’t handle emotions and alcohol very well that night.
Just a quickie!
Hey y’all!
Just wanted to make a quick post, soon heading out to go kayaking! I’ve never done that before, so I’m a little bit nervous about falling in the water, but also very excited to try it! Not the falling in the water part, lol.
The views on the road to Bristol, Tennessee was freaking amazing, I’m gonna edit the pictures I took later and show you, but for now I’ll just post these awesome state-sign pictures of me!
I’ll tell you all about my first night in Bristol too when we get back home.
Adventurous day!
Hey y’all!
We did a lot of fun stuff yesterday! We went to downtown Atlanta to go to the ”World of Coca-Cola”-museum, which was really cool. All the history, the artwork, old advertisements from all over the world and the best part – taste-testing!! They had over 60 different sodas from coca-cola that you could try (: One thing I didn’t know that was really cool was that coca-cola was invented here in Atlanta!
After that we went for lunch at an asian restaurant before shopping. I found a really nice pair of Converse, sunglasses and underwear. One can never have to many underwear. I’ve already bought five pairs since I got here, lol.
Later at night we went to see a laser-show which is actually the world’s largest laser-show. So cool and very powerful!
We skipped karaoke-night because we were really tired and just going back to downtown Atlanta felt tiring, lol.
Before bed I gave them some gifts I brought from Sweden and they seemed to really like it all, which made me happy (: Rascal, Ben’s dog, wasn’t too keen on wearing clothes at first but he got used to it after a while. He looks badass in that tanktop, don’t you think?
I’ll just throw a bunch of pictures on here, so enjoy!
Anxiety and culinary experiences
Hey y’all!
It’s ten to eight in the morning, we’re sitting on the back porch having some coffee and trying to get a hold of Delta Airlines (for the eleventh time in two days). My bag that was supposed to be delivered by 1 pm yesterday, then by 11 pm, then early this morning, still hasn’t shown up. I had to buy some new clothes yesterday, like underwear, pants, shirts, perfume and so on. It’s not at all as much fun to shop for clothes when you really HAVE to buy it.
This is our last day in Atlanta before heading to Bristol, so I really do need my bag like now, since they’re delivering it to this address. Scheduled for today is the coca-cola museum and shopping in downtown Atlanta, which is really exciting (: later tonight we’re going to this mountain to watch some awesome laser-show and then out to a karaoke bar! I’ve never been to one, so it’s gonna be interesting lol.
Yesterday was a very nice day, swimming and Kris cooked the most amazing food. For breakfast we had (among other things) biscuits and gravy, which is this authentic southern food, I can’t even explain what it is, but it’s like ground sausages in a sauce with some kind of bread. It was SO good, I’m gonna have to learn how to make that (:
For dinner she made several different things, all real southern food, and it was like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. She is a brilliant cook and I loved it all, could totally get used to that type of food!! One thing I thought was really cool were the eating trays, haha! So American and so awesome!!
I’m starting to get anxious about going back home to Sweden… Only a few more days left. I kinda just wanna quit my job and everything and stay, but that’s not gonna work lol. How come time goes by so fast when you’re having so much fun? It’s not fair.
Update on the bag: it’s on its way from the airport (finally), and should be here working the hour hopefully.
Atlanta, Georgia - part 1
Hey y’all!
Last night was awesome. Not so awesome that they put my bag on a different flight and I have no clothes. They said it was gonna be delivered to the door today. If they ain’t bringing it today I’m going all American and suing the company! (:
So as soon as we got to Ben’s sister Kristi’s house we sat down, had some coffee and a beer before heading out to this world known strip club called ”Clermont Lounge”. It was very interesting, lmao! The strippers were like between 45-65 years old and completely naked.
Today we are gonna go swimming in their pool (awesome) and wait for my bag to arrive.
I’m feeling very rested actually, even though I was pretty much awake for like 27 hours yesterday except for an hour of sleeping the flight here and there. It’s now 11:05 in the morning and I’m very ready to start the day!
Oh also! When I landed yesterday at 8:15 pm, it was 32°C and the sun was just about to go down. Yeah, it’s very hot here!
